according to question 9 
it is altitude not median because it has mentioned perpendicular distance from hypotenuse not the median which bisects it into two equal part so the ans is c

Area = 1/2*b*h = 1/2*12*5 = 30

Now,, h^2 = p^2 + b^2 
h = 13

Again area = 1/2*b*h ( h is the prpndclr distance of hyptns from vertex)
30 = 1/2 *13*h
h = 4 8/13 ........ (C)
